Celebrate The Eid

My theme colour for this coming Eid is going to be grey and bluish.

My 'kurung' is matched with 'kain selisih'. I used embroidered cotton. I simplified papa's 'baju Melayu' collar to cheongsam-like collar because I did not have experience in sewing 'cekak musang' collar. The material used is SB line cotton.

Nabilah got two new dresses. I made a bias-cut gown from the embroidered cotton and a kurung from SB line cotton. I added crochet flowers that were given by MisFydKraft on Nabilah's gown. I did use another pair of the same crochet here. Her kurung was machine embroidered with orange-sakura flowers. The traditional way of the embroidery is called 'sulam goyang' which is embroidered on traditional 'kebaya nyonya'. The little drawstring pouch bag is really her favourite ;))

The close up of the neck lines are as follows ;)). I hope that papa's cheongsam-like collar is not too feminine.

To speed up my sewing time, I simplified the waistlines of my skirt and papa's pant.
