2018: I decided to start blogging again

It is the end of 2017. We had new a year vacation here around KLCC. I decided to go and stay near to our home to ensure the kids are having fun during the school holidays because mama is too busy.

Happy school holidays!!... Where is your destination this time? Well, Langkawi Island could be the best place to go!!

I would like to share some photo and views around Chenang beach at Langkawi..

Most of the photos were taken on the first day we arrived. This restaurant smells good with the fresh seafood serves as dinner but we are already full at that time.

This was a catchy shop. I am in love with the shop when I saw the collections for the first time. All white, neat and tidy with fine embroidery on them. But I did not buy any of them and I will let you know later. ;0

Langkawi Island, Malaysia.... Beautiful and peaceful

I am on vacation after a very long and tough working life. So many things happened and occupied my time very much. I need my own sweet time with my love ones.

Sunset in Langkawi is one of the best view to be portrayed. The beaches are so beautiful. Many activities can be carried out here. So many... I will try to upload special slot for Langkawi later on. Inshaallah.... Happy mothers day, happy teachers day and happy Wesak day!!! Do visit Malaysia especially Langkawi Island ;)

Haru is coming

It is March!!! In nihongo (japanese) is called sangatsu (third month). So Haru (spring) is just around the corner. I cannot tell you how much I miss the breeze. The aura of the season is just full of colours. This is the busiest month in Japan as the schooling will start, graduating will take place, moving to a new place, starting new job and new life. It full of joys and tears as well.

That is why so many songs are dedicated for march or haru. The famous flower bloom is of course sakura (cherry blossom). Hanami (short form of hana mitai) is the direct translation of 'wants to look at the flower'. I enjoyed hanami by going to the park, taking thousands of pictures, sitting under the sakura trees and waiting for the falling petals of sakura once the wind blow.

So, if you wanted to feel the sakura blooming, you may visit Tokyo early of April. However due to extreme weather changes nowadays, the blooming time may shift. You may check the online weather forecast with picture. During the hanami, many festivals (matsuri) will be conducted at most of the parks.

January shopping

I was so excited to recieve this kinoko sling together with the purse from MyBotang. I heart them all (as usual). This is my 6th buy with MyBotang (I guess so.. lol). I love this bag as it is very sturdy. The size is just perfect!! because I can place Nabilah's thermos to keep her porridge during travelling. Not to forget the dining mats and the coasters that I received as a gift. Thank you MyBotang.

Geysha lady or lady in kimono reminds me to this drama (JIN). You should compare this drama with Ampang Medical which drive frustration on me ;(

This cloth pad is my first buy and I am very keen to wear them this February ;). I hope to shop more from ummi pad. I have been reading about this cloth pad from Anything handmade blog. So ladies, let save the environment and be healthy. Thank you to Lynn for the free gift too.

These omiyage (souvenir) are so adorable. I love them all. I just couldn't believe that papa do spend his time despite of his busy schedule in attending his nanoparticle conference with his former sensei. Thank you papa!!! Nabilah can't wait to wear her new gown.

W=What a Wonderful Wift (gift)

I celebrate January with wonderful swap gifts!!. Just received them from Kak Yati these two lovely purse and wristlet. I will keep the small ones for Nabilah. I swap my craft with Hani as well, a simple table runner.

Lucky Nabilah who just turned up to be 1 and received two presents from mama and auntie Yati.

I sewed a blouse for her using crochet (from misFyd craft) and japanese cotton with dobby texture.

U=Untuk Mereka dihari Bahagia

Cuti sekolah memang sedia maklum kita akan sibuk berkenduri kendara ;). Kalau dah jumpa sanak saudara tak ubah seperti berhari raya!! Minggu lepas adalah kali ketiga kumenghadiri walimatul urus di 'NurKasih land' aka Sungai Besar (berhampiran Kuala Selangor dan Sabak Bernam). Waaah.. makan sedap betul. Nasi putih dan lauk kampung dengan suasana sawah padi luas terbentang. Bak kata papa boleh dijadikan destinasi cuti-cuti Malaysia akan datang.. ;)) untuk misi 'Apa itu Menterang?'

Kekkon shiki omedetou!

Agak jenuh juga memkirkan hadiah yang ingin dikirimkan kepada raja sehari kali ini sampai papa hampir putus asa. Dan akhirnya kami membeli sebuah buku dan kebetulan kutelah siapkan Table Runner (Pelari Meja??). Hmm... Lain dari yang lain detik hatiku :) kerana kami belum pernah memberi buku sebagai hadiah. Tak sangka pula buku+Table Runner merupakan pasangan hadiah yang sesuai kerana Table Runner itu boleh dijadikan pembalut hadiah (ala ala Furoshiki gitu..). Idea yang kebetulan membuat kami teruja (syok sendiri la tu yer..) iaitu 2 hadiah dalam satu dengan 0 buangan (zero waste)
